BEEP TEST CHALLENGE
On Tuesday 21 July the best of the Year 7 beep testers competed in the annual beep test challenge.
The students ran hard and pushed themselves to commendable limits to see who could be the best of the best!
The competition was tough and all competitors should be proud of their efforts.
The eventual winners were Linda Zhou with an impressive 10.6 and Vinuk Fernando with a phenomenal level 12.

STATE CROSS COUNTRY
On Thursday 16 July, State Cross Country was held in the Yarra Valley.
The following students competed:
Alex Abad Garcia (Year 10), Benny Baldwin (Year 12),Olin Buisman (Year 12), Sylas Fox (Year 8),Benjamin Knox (Year 12),Mia Lacey (Year 11),Zavier Madden (Year 9), Luka Sideridis (Year 12),James Tuladhar (Year 8), Maidi Uribe Cardoso (Year 8), Aarav Vinothkumar (Year 8) and Flynn Walker (Year 8).
We finished the day strong in the final race, with Luka Sideridis, Benny Baldwin and Ben Knox claiming the 3rd place team medals. Well done to these boys and to everyone for making State Finals, which is a huge achievement.
A big congratulations to all students who represented McKinnon throughout the year at Cross Country and to all the staff that helped with coordinating the events.

VOLLEYBALL SUCCESS
Well done to Andreja Horvat from Year 12 who competed for Victoria in the Australian Junior Volleyball Competition in Adelaide over the July school holidays.
He received a Bronze medal in the Under 19 Men’s team. Andreja is number 23.

PUSH UP CHALLENGE
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Push-Up Challenge in June!
Together, we completed an incredible 61,645 push-ups and raised $1,253 to support mental health charities, helping provide vital services for those in need.
