A QUICK UPDATE FROM THE LANGUAGES TEAM
The Spanish teachers and students are very excited that Spain won the FIFA World Cup - Viva Espana!
We have two teachers covering long service leave this term. Frau Karina Sliwinski is covering Years 8 and 9 German at East campus, and Madame Laure Baq will be covering Years 7 and 10 French at the McKinnon Rd campus for the last five weeks of term.
At the end of term 2, some of our Year 8 French classes did in-class mini-expos about French culture. See below some photos.
This term has started with the Year 12 German classes attending the Model United Nations. This is always a great opportunity for students to use their language in a realistic way and to meet other students of the languages.
