STUDENT ID CARDS

We kindly encourage all students to bring their student ID cards when visiting the library. These cards are helpful for efficiently processing book loans and simplify the photocopying and scanning services available to students.

BOOK WEEK

Between Saturday 22 August to Friday 28 August, the entire school celebrated Book Week. The 2026 Children’s Book Week theme was ‘Symphony of Stories’

This year, the library team surveyed our teachers and staff about their favourite books and created book displays in the library.

We asked our staff, “Which book would you love every student at our school to read? A book you think has an important message or is simply too good to miss.”

Our staff recommendations included:

  • Little Womenby Louisa May Alcott

  • The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood

  • Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

  • To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

  • The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway

  • The Great Gatsbyby F Scott Fitzgerald

  • The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

  • The Happiest Man on Earth by Eddie Jaku

  • My Place by Sally Morgan

  • Animal Farm by George Orwell

  • The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck

  • The Hunger Gamesby Suzanne Collins
