DANIELA TAPIA LEAL
Daniela Tapia Leal of Year 12 is an outstanding athlete, who has achieved some spectacular results in Speed Climbing. We are pleased to report, she recently competed in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand and came away with the following results:
In the Oceania Championships U19 Age Category - 2nd place, and in the New Zealand National Championships Open category - 6th place.

SCHOOL SPORT VICTORIA BLUES AWARD
On Wednesday 25 March Allegra Orso from the class of 2025 was awarded the School Sport Victoria Blues Award for her outstanding accomplishments in Athletics. The Blues Award is the highest accolade awarded through School Sport Victoria.
Allegra is an extraordinary athlete whose accomplishments span school sport, Little Athletics, Athletics Victoria and Athletics Australia. Her list of achievements is remarkable.
At the SSV Championships, she set SMR records in Long Jump and Triple Jump. She went on to claim State Championships in the 100m, Long Jump and Triple Jump, including recording the Victorian Best Performance for Triple Jump with a distance of 12.47m.
Her success extends to Little Athletics Victoria, where she became State Champion in both Long Jump and Triple Jump, achieving Victorian Best Performances in both events.
At Athletics Victoria championships, she earned multiple state medals. On the national stage, Allegra won a National Championship in Triple Jump.
Within our school community, Allegra was named the 2024 Athlete of the Year, a reflection not only of her results, but her sportsmanship, consistency and commitment.
Beyond competition results, Allegra contributes as a coach and leader. She serves as a Head Coach at Caulfield Little Athletics Centre and teaches fundamental skills to our youngest athletes through the On Track program. She also demonstrates strong leadership within the school as Gilmore House Captain.
Congratulations Alegra, you are a true ambassador for school sport.
