SPORT NEWS

Terms 3 & 4 have seen some phenomenal success on the sporting field with a number of teams progressing to Southern Metro Regional Finals.

Congratulations to Year 8 Girls Hockey, Inter Boys & Girls Cricket, Year 8 Boys Cricket, Year 7 Boys Cricket, Inter Boys and Girls Table Tennis, Year 7 Boys and Girls Table Tennis, Year 8 Girls Basketball, Year 8 Boys and Girls Table Tennis and Year 7 & 8 Girls Cricket. These teams will be competing to hopefully go through to State Finals in the coming weeks.

Some exceptional performances earlier in the year will see the Year 8 Softball team, Year 8 Boys and Girls Tennis teams and the Year 7 Girls Tennis team competing at State Championships in the next few weeks. It is a phenomenal achievement to make it through to the top 8 teams in the State.

STATE ATHLETICS

Our Athletics squad were representing the College at the State Finals on Monday 20 October. Congratulations to all of the athletes in the squad who competed throughout the season. Our exceptional results saw the team finish 4th overall in the State. This is phenomenal! Thank you to Miss Owen for organising the team.

• Christina Tan (Year 12) - 4th (Hurdles)

• Elliot Mulholland Pyle (Year 8) - 5th (High Jump)

• Flynn Walker (Year 7) - 5th (400m)

• Year 12 Boys Relay (Hugh Du Toit, Finn Sharp, Harry Robertson and Sam Markham) - 2nd
