SUCCESS STORIES

DAVID KANG

Year 8 student David Kang has been playing football since the age of 10 and has been training and competing seriously for several years.  He currently plays as a striker for Box Hill United FC in Division 1 and has previously played for Monash Villarreal FC (2 years) and Burwood City FC (2 years), where he developed his skills as both a winger and striker.

David was recently selected for Football Victoria's Talent Identification and Development Centre (TIDC) Program for 2012-born players.  It’s an exciting opportunity for him.

Football is a huge passion in David's life. He trains almost every day, often starting with early morning ball mastery and technical work before school, and he is committed to continually improving both on and off the field.

Participation in this program supports David's ongoing development toward potential selection for the Emerging Socceroos Championships, representing Victoria against other states.

Hard work, discipline and dedication have paid off for David. We congratulate him and wish him every success in the program.
