MALIAH MURPHY

Maliah Murphy of Year 11 has been part of the Australian Girls Choir for the past nine years.

Over the summer break she performed at the Carols by Candlelight (as televised on Channel 9), the Cricket Test Match of Australia vs England and on the Today Show.  

We are pleased to show some of her exciting performance work in the pictures here. 

AIDEN SPECTOR

Year 10 student Aiden Spector has previously featured in our newsletter as an emerging, professional Go Karter.

We are proud to announce that two weeks ago, Aiden won a prestigious state level event, Junior Top Guns. The event was held at the Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club, the home track of Oscar Piastri, who now competes in Formula 1. It attracted strong drivers from across Australia, with over 170 competitors participating. Aiden performed extremely well to take the podium in the number one position.

ANNA ZEMLINSKY

Dance champion Anna Zemlinsky of Year 11 has recently received a slew of competition awards.

First place in:

• Solo U21 Standard Ballroom

• Pro/Am U21 Standard Ballroom in the Oceania Danceport Championship (NSW) and Evolution Danceport Championship.

At the 79th Australian Danceport Championships held in December last year, Anna won all National titles in the Pro/AM and Coach/students events in U21 Standard Ballroom, (representing Victoria) and made the top 3 in the Latin American program also in U21 Pro/Am category.

Anna was featured on the Channel 7 Sunrise program in a segment about ballroom dancing. Her excellent results reflect years of dedication and hard work studying and training in her chosen field. She is to be congratulated.
