STUDENT ID CARDS
I would like to encourage all students to please bring their student ID cards with them when they visit the library. Student ID cards help staff with the speed and accuracy of issuing loans. Student ID cards also make printing, photocopying and scanning easier and quicker.
BOOK OF THE WEEK
The following books were recently featured in our Book of the Week display:
Keeper of Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger
The first book in the internationally bestselling Keeper of the Lost Cities series reimagined as a graphic novel. Perfect for fans of Harry Potter and Rick Riordan.
Sophie Foster has a secret.
She’s a Telepath with the power to hear the thoughts of everyone around her – something that she's never spoken about, even to her own family. But everything changes when she meets Fitz, a mysterious boy with the same ability.
She discovers there's somewhere she does belong and in the blink of an eye, Sophie is forced to leave behind everything and start a new life in a magical world.
The extraordinary disappointments of Leopold Berry (Sunderworld #1) by Ransom Riggs
The much-anticipated new fantasy series from Ransom Riggs. Seventeen-year-old Leopold Berry is seeing weird things around Los Angeles. A man who pops a tooth into a parking meter. A glowing trapdoor in a parking lot. A half-mechanical raccoon with its tail on fire that just won't leave him alone. Every hallucinatory moment seems plucked from a cheesy 1990s fantasy TV show called Max's Adventures in Sunderworld - and that's because they are.

ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIAS
I would like to take this opportunity to remind students and families about the two online encyclopedias that are accessible through the library's catalogue. The World Book Online encyclopedia is a trusted source of information for students of all ages, with articles, videos, and other multimedia resources. The Encyclopedia Britannica is also available, which provides comprehensive and authoritative information on a wide range of topics.
