ATHLETICS REPORT

Last Thursday, McKinnon staff and students braved a chilly and wet start and came together for the Athletics Carnival. With Nostalgia: Childhood Memories the theme, there was a sea of blue, red, yellow and green nostalgia inspired outfits.

Despite the weather, the numbers of participants in most events were higher than they've been in the past. 

There was much excitement on the track as students competed in hotly contended track and field events, as well as Year 12s playing Quidditch and many students showing their strength at the tug of war.

The main event of the day being the house captains and staff relay and was taken out by the staff team and Gilmore captains.

The winner will be announced at the General Assembly tomorrow Friday 26 July. 

Thank you to all the staff and students for all their efforts on participation and making the day such a success. The day showcased our College's important values and the McKinnon Magic!
